About Me

Hi there, I’m Kira.

I’m a Danish-American mother of theee young kids (baby, a two-year old, and a five year old) with my husband here in Washington DC. I decided to start this blog to share ideas for seasonally-appropriate, and tried and tested baby, toddler, and Kindergarten-aged activities, toys, clothing, gear and more! I’ll also include my favorite items for mamas and parents alike. Gift recs for these special early milestones is also something you can find on this site! 

While I don’t subscribe to a sole way of life by any means, I incorporate facets of a Waldorf-inspired lifestyle given that I spent all my pre-college years in Waldorf school (I loved it!) and was raised with many of these ideals. Growing up mostly in New England lends a seasonal air to everything we do at home - so this is a focus as well!
