School is up and running! Just today, the temperature’s high is a lovely 65 Fahrenheit- first time since spring that it’s not supposed to be hot. Exhilarating! If your toddler or kindergartener is back at school and you need some ideas for basics and gear that are reliable and euro-inspired, this post is for you!

Baby fall gear tips can be found at the end for the littlest ones.

Cooler weather also means one has to take stock of clothing, supplies, gear and the likes. Our toddler has started school three mornings a week, and is outside for a large chunk (if not all) of it. The calls for extra clothing sets and changes of clothes! I’ve come across a brand I really like for organic cotton basics. This is the type of outfit set you can get in Denmark, but they sell on Maisonette or Amazon.

Toddler & Kindergarten gear & clothing ideas for school:

Where do we snag the cutest kid clothing that we don’t necessarily send them to school in?

Babyshop (still ships to USA but beware the tariffs and duties, good for a snowsuit or rainsuit that’ll last two years etc). Smallable (same issue!) Misha and Puff. Mini Rodini. Reima. Konges Sløjd (personal fave). Wheat. Zara. All of these have USA shops!

If you’re in Denmark (lucky you) - when we’re there we stock up on basics from Name It, and the kids brand called Friends which you can find in the big Qvikly department/grocery stores. Love their wool under layers, and basic cotton outfits!

Here is my girl in her Kuling rain gear from Babyshop!
