We are expecting a snowstorm in DC tonight - to mark the day, I spent the morning making snowflake-shaped salt dough ornaments with my three year old.

He adores pouring and mixing, so making the dough was fun on its own. Then we brought out a couple of winter-themed cookie cutters and made some pretty snowflakes and stars. with a little hole poked through the top before baking, we’ll be able to hang the snowflakes in the window!
