I love this time of year; we bring the holiday books down and somehow it feels like the past year went by in a blur! This year we have our seasonal books under our small tree at the start of the kitchen island (baby-proofed!) we have a few too many for the table so we can switch them out from time to time too.

Here are some favorites for the 3.5 year old!

1. The Little Snowplow - find it here!

A cute and relatively simple story which is sure to thrill any truck-obsessed toddler ❄️

2. The Gnome’s Winter Journey - find it here!

This is more of a Waldorf style book - a very sweet and innocent tale of gnomes in the wintertime - really a lovely pick, and one the three year old always asks for to be read.

3. The Mitten - Jan Brett - find it here!

If you haven’t read this one, I’d grab a copy asap as it’s an imaginative and fun story which is full of animals and some cheeky adventure too, set to gorgeous drawings. It’s also based on a Ukrainian tale One of our boy’s winter favorites for sure.
