It's Fall! Waldorf education focuses on fostering a strong sense of rhythm in early childhood, and one way to do this at home is to work on a seasonal book table.

Here is a collection of some Fall faves for both my baby V, and my toddler Coco; while the baby may not sit through the entire Elsa Beskow it's always nice to have her playing next to me as I read to him. A classic story and very sweet tale that is set in a windy, leafy forest definitely feels like fall! Find it here.

The Peekaboo pumpkin book on the other hand, silly, simple and fun is perfect for my 9 month old's current stage, and Coco still finds it mildly interesting as well. I'd say perfect for 6-30 months. Find it here!

Room on the Broom, a Julia Donaldson classic - needs no introduction / just a cheeky fun Halloween fave. Find it here (I like the board book version - this one has an interactive element which can be so exciting for younger eyes)

Autumn - by Gerda Muller - is a Waldorf classic and all around sweet dive into the fall atmosphere through nature activities and a child's eyes. Find it here

Moomin - a (Finnish) cult fave in Scandinavia and beyond (have you been to the Moomin shop in Covent Garden, London - it is amazing). In this seasonally appropriate book, they look for the tree where the golden leaf originated from... Coco turned three in July and enjoyed this throughout the season. Find it here

That's it for now, thanks for reading
